We had such a wonderful time at the Stamped Film Festival Family Day!
Events like these allow us to connect with youth and families in fun, creative ways—while sparking meaningful conversations about hope, choices, and resilience.
We had a wonderful time tonight sharing our resources alongside our friends from Valerie's House Pensacola at Dixon School of Arts & Sciences Open House!
We joined countless nonprofits at National Night Out—which, yep, was cut short by a surprise downpour. Even in the mist of rain, we managed to help 8 families start the school year off equipped with Narcan. Our partners at Lakeview agree, a little bit of rain won't stop our mission! Every conversation matters. Every resource counts.
Our incredible high school volunteers and Prevention Coordinator provided pencils, notebooks, and life-saving substance use prevention information to over 200 families with 28 boxes of Narcan going home within the first hour!
We joined Community Vision at their Back-to-School Summer Bash to provide resources, education, and support to families preparing for the new school year. From impactful conversations to distributing Narcan to 32 families, the event was a reminder of how vital it is to meet people where they are—with compassion, tools, and hope.
During the Youth Mental Health Summit hosted by Storytelling Solutions, we engaged with teens in meaningful discussions around mental health, substance use, and the importance of speaking up. We were inspired to see young people confidently express our mission and the importance of education, awareness, and empowerment in their own words.
🎶 Good music. Chill vibes. Perfect weather. 🌞
And even more meaningful — we had powerful conversations and were able to distribute 8 boxes of Narcan to community members. Thank you to Bands on the Beach for your continued belief in our mission.
We had such a great time connecting with families today at the Boys & Girls Club June Jam! Every chance to come together as a community for the well-being of our youth is a step toward a brighter future—and we’re always grateful to be part of it.
As we reflect on our time at Bands on the Bayou on May 23rd, we’re filled with gratitude for the warm welcome and incredible generosity. The music, the food, and the overall vibe made for such a fun and memorable evening!
uge shoutout to UWF Professor Bre Garret for inviting us to present to her ENC 1102 class for the second semester in a row! Her students were working on public arguments aimed at raising awareness about fentanyl within the UWF community—a topic Professor Garret has made a priority in her curriculum since 2023.
We had such an incredible time connecting with families in our community, sharing the importance of substance use prevention, and raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl. To top it off, we sent 28 families home with a box of Narcan. A huge thank you to the Fred Levin Way Foundation for all the hard work that went into making this year's festival meaningful and impactful.
We had the privilege of presenting to sixteen parents, teens, and volunteers at Valerie’s House. In addition, Narcan training was provided with 11 boxes being distributed. This presentation was especially meaningful, as it’s where our ED and her two daughters began their own healing journey after their loss of Isaiah. It was a powerful full-circle moment, and certainly not the last. Thank you, Valerie’s House, for believing in and supporting our mission!
Two Mothers, One Mission.
Thank you Mitch Madness for selecting HAF has the recipient of this years fundraiser. We look forward to continuing this partnership and raising awareness together.
Another successful Stop Saying "Not My Child" workshop given to the middle school parents at Creative Learning Academy along with Narcan training provided by our partners at EMS CORE. 12 of these open-minded parents have now added Narcan to their medical supply kit. (March)
We met with the Pensacola Optimist Club to discuss breaking the stigma surrounding substance use and the harsh realities of fentanyl affecting our youth. We were also joined by our Board President and Lakeview’s MAT Supervisor, who led a Narcan training session. Another 10 boxes of Narcan provided to community members!
The owners share a deep passion for supporting youth and young adults and are eager to further their awareness and outreach efforts. We're excited to collaborate to create opportunities that further engage and support our community.
Alongside Escambia County CORE, we presented our Stop Saying "Not My Child" workshop to the passionate women of Temple Beth El Sisterhood. Another successful Narcan training completed along with 24 boxes distributed! (February)
With 16 boxes distributed, several UWF departments, professors, and students are now stocked with Narcan, ensuring they're prepared if the need ever arises.
This is our 3rd year waking up bright and early to greet the Escambia County School Counselors for their back-to-school day. Equipping our counselors with knowledge and resources is incredibly important. We are grateful to be a trusted source in the community.
Even though the rain cut our August Gallery Night Pensacola short, we still managed to distribute 8 boxes of Narcan and connect with several community members in the medical field who reminded us just how important it is for everyone to carry it.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
