Our outreach meets families where they are
— in schools, neighborhoods, community spaces, and moments of need.
Hope Above Fear provides in-person community trainings designed to educate adults, caregivers, educators, and community leaders on youth substance use, fentanyl awareness, substance abuse prevention strategies, and overdose response. These sessions often include Narcan education and training, along with open discussion to reduce stigma and empower communities with knowledge and practical tools. Click to Learn More.
We appreciated the open and honest conversations that were had with the Seville Rotary Club. Addiction doesn’t pick and choose a person based on race, gender, or socioeconomic. Education and open dialog is vital.
Through resource fairs and family-focused outreach events, Hope Above Fear connects directly with families, youth, and community members to share prevention resources, educational materials, and support options. These events provide low-barrier access to information, conversations, and free Narcan distribution, helping families feel informed, supported, and connected.
2023 was our first National Night Out, an evening where families from across the community are provided with resources and an opportunity to collect free school supplies.
Consistent community presence is a vital part of Hope Above Fear’s outreach. By showing up in shared public spaces and community traditions, we create visibility, start conversations, and normalize prevention-focused dialogue. These moments help reduce stigma and ensure families know where to turn for support and education.
Gallery Night - April 2023
From big to little, our volunteers came in all sizes to help support our first Gallery Night community outreach.
